McMinnville man killed in crash on Hwy 18

MCMINNVILLE, Ore. (KOIN) — Robby A. Robbins of McMinnville Oregon was killed early Friday morning when the driver of a Dodge Durango crossed into the oncoming lane and struck two other vehicles on Hwy 18.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. on April 22 and fatigued driving may have contributed, state troopers said.

Daniel Cain, 25, was driving the Dodge westbound on Hwy 18 when he crossed the center line and hit first a Chevrolet van head-on, then Robbins’ Honda Civic. The driver of the van, Stanley Cass, 62, had non-life threatening injures as a result. Cain received minor injuries.
