CORNELIUS, Ore. (KOIN) — Washington County Deputies arrested a man Friday night after he allegedly fought with them after illegally towing a truck.
According to witnesses, Warren Fleming was upset about a Toyota pickup truck parked in front of his house on S. Palmetto Way. He hooked up the truck to his 2002 Dodge Dakota using a large chain and towed it away.
During the process, the Toyota came loose and crashed into a neighbor’s yard. A tree prevented the pickup from crashing into the house.
After the crash, Fleming, 51, drove back to his house and went inside.
Several neighbors witnesses this and called deputies. When they arrived to speak with him, they say Fleming fought with them before being taken into custody.
He faces charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, criminal mischief and resisting arrest.
