VANCOUVER, Wash. (KOIN) — Vancouver Police arrested two women on forgery charges after they were allegedly using fake money to buy things at Fred Meyer.

Police were called to the store at 11325 Mill Plain Blvd. on Sunday on a report that two women were using counterfeit $100 bills. Priscilla Canterbury, 33, and Sarah Johnson, 37, were both arrested.

In addition to the forgery charges they were also charged with heroin possession.

Police say they are looking for two people who might be involved in making the funny money, Nickolas Hiatt and Noralee Nolan.

Police are also encouraging other businesses who may have mistakenly accepted counterfeit money to report it to police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Vancouver Police Detective Richard Rich at richard.rich@cityofvancouver.us.
