PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two drivers are held and face manslaughter charges in the death of a third driver who died early Friday in a Southeast Portland crash.
Investigators said Linda Johnston was turning onto SE Stark from 160th Avenue when she collided with one car and then was hit by a second car. Johnston was pinned in and died at the scene. She was 65.
The drivers, Jose D. Lara, 18, and 27-year-old Oswaldo A Reyes, were both arrested. Each faces 2nd-degree manslaughter and reckless driving charges.
Lara and Reyes were both speeding on SE Stark immediately before the crash, investigators said.
