PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Each year since 1954, decorated boats have taken to the Willamette and Columbia rivers at this time of year in the annual Christmas Boats parade. And they’re back for 2015.
Beginning Friday, the boats will begin their nightly parade on the respective rivers over a 15-day period. There are 6 nights where the combined fleet travels on both rivers.
