ALOHA, Ore. (KOIN) — A man was arrested on DUII charges after running into a person who was being interviewed as part of a hit and run investigation.
Washington County Deputies say they were called to a home in Aloha early Saturday morning after a GMC pickup crashed into a minivan, pushing the minivan into the owner’s garage. The pickup crashed into the living room causing extensive damage.

The driver and passengers ran from the pickup after the crash. A sheriff’s office K9 tried to track down the suspects but was unable.
While deputies were interviewing a witness to the hit and run crash, a car passing by left the road and hit the witness.
That driver, 32-year-old Marvis Lambert Jr., stayed at the scene. Deputies believe alcohol was a factor in the crash and they arrested him for DUII, assault and reckless driving.
The witness suffered a knee injury and was treated at the scene.
