BEAVERTON, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman died when she was hit by a car along a very busy street in Beaverton around 7 p.m. Saturday.
The woman was crossing the street at SW 166th and West Kiley Way when the driver of a white Mustang hit her. There are pedestrian crosswalks in the area, but she was not in one when she was hit.
There is also a construction zone slightly east of where the crash happened. Authorities said the driver, who stayed and cooperated with police, was leaving the construction zone when the woman was hit.
