FOREST GROVE, Ore. (KOIN) — The streets of Forest Grove are safe once again now that police have apprehended “Steve” a rogue rooster accused of harassment.
“Steve” allegedly harassed residents in Ridge Point, Crestview and Forest Gale for several days before authorities caught up with him Thursday morning.
In a Facebook post, Forest Grove Police Dept. revealed a joint task force apprehended the bird, who will be released to the custody of an out-of-town farm.
“As a reminder, Forest Grove City Fowl Ordinance specifically prohibits roosters within city limits, but does allow a single resident to have up to 4 chickens,” police wrote.
Better luck next time, “Steve”.
