PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man was pulled from the Columbia River by friends on Saturday afternoon.
Multnomah County Sheriff’s River Patrol responded to the call of a swimming in trouble. The man and his friends had been swimming near Lemon Island.
Citizens performed CPR until paramedics arrived to transport the man to the hospital.
Deputies are investigating what happened.
