PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A couple accused of dealing drugs in Southwest Portland was arrested Wednesday with a young child in tow.
Emanuel Rivera, 28, and Brittany Jones, 22, were in the area of SW 10th Avenue and Yamhill Street when officers reportedly saw them partaking in a drug deal.

Officers found a small amount of packaged heroin and drug money on the pair, according to Portland Police Bureau.
The couple had a 7-month-old girl in a stroller with them at the time, police said. Various narcotics paraphernalia was reportedly found in a diaper bag on her stroller.
Rivera and Jones were arrested and charged with first-degree child neglect, delivery of heroin and possession of heroin.
The 7-month-old was placed in protective custody.
