ROCK CREEK, Ore. (KOIN) — A Hillsboro woman was pinned under a BMW and critically injured after it rolled over when the driver apparently lost control on a curve in Rock Creek.
Nicole Nelson, 39, was a passenger in the BMW 325i driven by Cary Lovelady, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said. Lovelady was headed west on NW Union Road around 1:25 a.m. Sunday when he was going too fast at a curve near NW 203rd Place.
Investigators said the 38-year-old driver overcorrected and the BMW rolled. Lovelady was able to get out, but Nelson was pinned underneath.

Both were taken by ambulance to Legacy Emanuel. Her injuries are described as life threatening, while he suffered minor injuries.
Lovelady was driving on a suspended license and investigators believe alcohol and speed were factors in the single-car crash.
No charges have yet been filed, but Lovelady may face felony DUII charges. He was previously convicted for DUII. More charges related to Nelson’s injuries are possible.
