SHERWOOD, Ore. (KOIN) — Officers are investigating a hit and run in Sherwood that occurred Thursday night on SW Langer Farms Parkway.
Someone drove their car into the planter area off the road, hitting a sprinkler control box and street light pole. Portland General Electric crews had to cut down the light pole for safety reasons.
The vehicle was not found in the surrounding area, but police believe it was likely a blue Scion XB from pieces they found on the ground.
Sherwood police ask anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have additional information to call via the non-emergency dispatch line, at 503-629-0111.
