Suspect arrested 1 month after deadly crash

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The suspect in a deadly crash in Northeast Portland last month has been arrested.

Portland Police say David Saucedo was arrested Wednesday in Mason County, Washington, near the city of Elma.

Saucedo was wanted for his alleged role in a deadly crash on NE 157th and Halsey. Between the 2 cars involved, 3 people were hurt and 1 person died. Saucedo is accused of being the driver who caused the crash. He ran from the scene.

Saucedo faces charges in Mason County and will face charges in Multnomah County at a later date.
