PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — If you’re going to any of Dave Chappelle’s shows at the Aladdin Theater this week, be prepared to face tough security.

“We will be requiring photo ID to match all tickets that come through the door,” the theater posted on their Facebook page. “Ticketfly and the Aladdin are both VERY committed to preventing scalping on these shows.”
The Aladdin Theater urged fans not to buy secondhand tickets from scalpers, and they vow to “cancel any b.s. or scalper orders.”
Tickets for the comedian’s 6-show, 3-night run sold out almost immediately after they went on sale. Shortly after that, they started popping up on third party websites for very high prices.
Also unwelcome at any of the shows — cell phones. The theater says everyone will be subject to a pat down and anyone caught with a cell phone will be thrown out.
